SR2 Technical Requirements

SR2 runs in most environments, eliminating the need for additional hardware or software purchases. You use and leverage the tools and technologies that you have, know, and trust.

• Any - compatibility is controlled by you.

Supported Programming Languages

Developers can interact with data stored in the database containing SR2 content by executing normal SQL statements and a few basic regular expressions. Any web server-side scripting language can be used for creating templates, including:

• Any server-side scripting language (Active Server Pages (ASP), Java Server Pages (JSP), ColdFusion Markup Language (CFM), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Tool Control Language (TCL), Perl, and Python)
• Any programming language that supports SQL, connectivity to the RDBMS, and regular expressions (including Visual Basic, C++, and Java); programs can also interact directly with data stored in the database.

Web Development Tools

• Any tool (Macromedia Coldfusion Studio, HomeSite, Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage, Notepad, etc.)

• Windows 2000 32bit (Service Pack 1 and above)

Example Implementations

SR2 can be installed on Windows, Linux or Solaris operating system.

Here are some example requirements for Windows and Linux on Intel, given our knowledge of our client implementations.

  • Memory: 4GB (more is always preferred)
